The Candela GMAX laser is used to treat thread veins and telangiectasias, which are the deeper green veins under the surface of the skin on the legs. The laser emits a focused beam of light that targets the pigmented thread veins, heating them up and causing them to collapse. The body then absorbs the treated veins, reducing their appearance.
