I want to thank Javis and the team at BD for their kind invitation to speak at their kickoff 2024 regional meeting in Macau on improving outcomes in chronic disease. I managed to discuss the current status of end-stage peripheral artery disease 和 diabetic foot disease that plagued our most vulnerable and challenging elderly patients in Singapore.
Also highlighted the worsening end-stage kidney failure prevalence due to diabetes in our country and the endemic venous ulceration problem. Had the great honour of sharing the podium with Jeremy Lim co-founder and CEO of AMiLi and Deepak Sahni, CEO of Healthier who both gave enlightening talks on innovation in healthcare and how health delivery will likely change moving forward.
